be careful of your mouth! it's deadly...!

read James 3:9-10

in bahasa Indonesia, Yakobus 3:9-10...

"Dengan lidah kita memuji Tuhan, Bapa kita; dan dengan lidah kita mengutuk manusia yang diciptakan menurut rupa Allah, dari mulut yang satu keluar berkat dan kutuk. Hal ini, saudara-saudaraku, tidak boleh demikian terjadi."

remember the part recording Jesus cursed the fig tree?... just by words, spoken out from His mouth... the fig tree withered the nex morning!

in Markus 11:23 (Mark), Jesus in reply to His deciple, said,

"Aku berkata kepadamu: Sesungguhnya barangsiapa berkata kepada gunung ini: Beranjaklah dan tercampaklah ke dalam laut! Asal tidak bimbang hatinya, tetapi percaya, bahwa apa yang dikatakannya itu akan terjadi, maka hal itu akan terjadi baginya"

in Genesis, God created everything just by words alone!

'let there be light..' and there is the light shining forth
'let there be...' ...plants of any kind... animals, fishes, birds... stars, moon, sun... and there goes everything, created out from nothingness!

Just by WORDS... in faith, in believing they were all created!

and God said, 'let us make man in our image and likeness...' so here we are, made in His image and likeness, meaning we have, somehow, the abilities God have!

we are creative, because God is creative!
we love, because God is the love itself!
we have emotions, because God have it too!
we speak words, because God is not mute!
and the words we speak forth, do having a certain influence to the environment and ourselves! Just like God's words have the power to do all these miracles!

therefore, be careful of our words, said to others!
no more, 'stupid', 'die', 'go hell', 's**t' and many those bad, discouraging, taboo etc words...

"dare to be different for Christ!", keep this in mind, my brothers and sisters.

in Efesus 4:29 (Ephesians), it's written...

"Janganlah ada perkataan kotor keluar dari mulutmu, tetapi pakailah perkataan yang baik untuk membangun, di mana perlu, supaya mereka yang mendengarnya, beroleh kasih karunia."

God be your wisdom! God's blessings flow out from the Heaven through Jesus Christ into your life, in His Spirit, praise the Lord, Lord of our life and Lord of all. Amen!

He's There All The Time.

Isaiah 45:18-25

I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right. ( Isa45:19 )

  • Why we often have trouble in finding Him?
-> Probably because we are looking in all the wrong places.
  • In His Word, in prayer and in the voice of the Holy Spirit who lives within you and you'll find Him right where He is supposed to be.
  • The God who says " seek, and you will find " ( Matt. 7:7 )
  • He also promised that " He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him " ( Heb. 11:6 )

The LORD is near to all who call;
He promised in His holy Word
That if we will draw near to Him,
Our faintest heartcry will be heard.

Have we been looking for God in all the wrong places?

Responding To Criticism

1 Peter 2:4-12

When they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God. ( 1 Peter 2:12 )

  • Criticism can consume our lives to the point of emotional paralysis.
  • Set our hearts to serve God faithfully undeterred by that criticism and put our God on display.
  • We won't need to answer our critics with words, our lives will say all that is needed.

If we keep doing what is right,
And serving Christ each day,
We need not fear what others think
Nor what the critics say.

The most powerful testimony is a godly life.

Praise and worship Jesus with spirit!!!

What's Your Story??

Acts 26:9-18

Believe on the LORD Jesus Christ, and you will be saved. ( Acts 16:31 )

Read:
2 Timothy 3:14-15

  • No two faith journeys are identical. But each has the common element of turning to the LORD Jesus in faith to be saved from sin and to receive new heart.

We once were held by Satan's chains,
Imprisoned by our sin;
Then Jesus Christ delivered us
And made us new within.

We need more than a new start,
We need a new heart!!

End Of Construction

Jude 1:20-25

To Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory...( Jude 1:24 )

  • Every follower of Christ can share the confidence that God's faithfulness will carry us through this period of spiritual building on earth.
  • Grown in faith, pray in the Spirit and remain surrounded by God's love.
  • Show mercy to others and rescue those in danger of spiritual ruin.
  • One day our construction will be complete, a prospect that's worth so much more than a smile.
When my spirit, clothed immortal,
Wings its flight to realms of day,
This my song through endless ages:
Jesus led me all the way.

To build a godly life, let God be the architect and His word the blueprint.

ATTACKED!!

Haizzz.....on the 13.09.2008 night, me, my mother and other church member were having a prayer session in the church. During my mother's turn to pray, suddenly she got attacked by some sort of force. She said she suddenly felt a headache, not the ordinary headache but very strong and she said that she felt like her head was squeezed by the unknown force and she also said that she felt her head was going to exploded, last thing we do is we pray for her. After we pray and casted out the unknown force in the name of Jesus Christ, she felt better and relieved. HALELUYA!!!!

In dis incident, i can see with my own eyes that Jesus Christ our mighty LORD really is powerful and only He can do such a miracle. There are no other god nor religion can save us from the dead, but remember that only He, Jesus Christ are the only way to life, an eternity life in heaven. Heaven is so real, so do hell.

Exodus 20:5-7

A Measure of Healing

2 Corinthians 1:3-7

This is my comfort in my affliction, for Your Word has given me life. (Psalm 119:50)

In the midst of our pain, we entrust our lives to God's sovereign direction, but we also realize that gnawing sadness will always reside in our hearts. God has promised that He will wipe away all tears in heaven (Rev. 7:17), but until then the healing will be incomplete.

The psalmist said that while God's Word gives life, there is still the combination of "comfort in my affliction" (Ps. 119:50). Even in life's toughest circumstances, we can, with God's help, enjoy a measure of healing.

I have been through the valley of weeping,
The valley of sorrow and pain;
But the God of all comfort was with me,
At hand to uphold and sustain.

The God who washed away our sins will also wipe away our tears!

Lifework

1 Timothy 5:1-8

" If anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." (1 Tim 5:8)

Loving and caring for those is our life's work, and caring for those of our "own house" is the highest and holiest work of all. To deny love is to align ourselves with cold, uncaring world.

Jesus promise that one who gives a cup of cold water to one of His children "shall by no means lose his reward." (Matt 10:42)
=>
All who receive the disciples of Jesus receive him, and God who sent him, and will be rewarded accordingly.

THINKING IT THROUGH
Paul says we are to help those who "are really widows" (1 Tim 5:3-5)
What does he mean by this? (verse 9-10)
Who should help before the church does? (verse 16)

True love is doing, not just feeling.

Shufflin' to Hillsong United song 'Tell The World'

Hillsong United - Hosanna

I see the king of glory
Coming on the clouds with fire
The whole earth shakes
The whole earth shakes

Yeeeah

I see his love and mercy
Washing over all our sin
The people sing
The people sing

[Chorus]
Hosanna
Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest [x2]

I see a generation
Rising up to take their place
With selfless faith
With selfless faith

I see a near revival
Stirring as we pray and seek
We're on our knees
We're on our knees

[Chorus]

Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like you have loved me

Break my heart from what breaks yours
Everything I am for your kingdoms cause
As I go from nothing to
Eternity

[Chorus x2]

Hosanna in the highest

Called

Roman 12:3-8

God has given us natural abilities, He also equips every believer with spiritual gifts for the purpose of ministry. God doesn't use the unwilling. He won't force us to serve Him.
His part is to equip us (Eph 4:11-13) and empower and prepare us for service. Our part is to be faithful and available and aware of opportunities to use our gifts.

When you feel impelled to help fill a need, when you're inwardly driven to serve, listen to those thoughts. You don't want to miss God's call. -Cindy Hess Kasper

In gladness I go forth each day
Expectantly to serve and claim
The happiness that service gives
When freely rendered in God's name. -
